Lightning Wordpress Theme

We are starting DailyWP with an old wordpress theme. I`ve designed and coded this wordpress theme on November last year. I`ve optimized it for Wordpress 2+ and now it`s ready to be downloaded!

How do I add content in Blue, Orange or Green boxes in sidebar?

Simple. There are two ways:

If you have basic HTML knowledges you can edit yourself sidebar.php. There is <div class=”sidebar” id=”Blue” >, <div class=”sidebar” id=”Orange”> and <div class=”sidebar” id=”Green”>.
This theme is also Widget Ready. So if you don`t know what is HTML just go to Widgets page in Presentation from your wordpress dashboard and you will find there 3 sections.

I see some lists are divided in 2, how can I do that?

You are not able to do that if you use widgets. If you don`t use widgets just add class=”half” to your uls. It should look like this: <ul class=”half”>….</ul>

There is an “Lorem ipsum..” in header. How can I edit / delete it?

Simple. Open header.php from Lightning folder, search for <div class=”alignleft”> … </div>. There is your text.

Hey!

This is a nice theme, and I’m thinking of using it on a site I’m making.

How do I make the theme to have 2 sidebars (3 columns)?
Is it a built in feature that is turned off by default, or will I have to do any coding?

Hi - fab theme. However, I set it up using Firefox, but now when I view it in Explorer there are errors. Please help me understand why coz i love my new blog and I want both firefox and explorer users to be able to view it!!!

Whenever I try to upload the theme, I can’t. It doesn’t work…and it won’t show up in my list of WP themes. Any ideas?

Okay, I have solved my last problem, but how can I add a logo into the template now? I want to make my logo the header instead of the current text. Any ideas?

I really like the theme. It’s fairly simple yet offers a lot of nice design attributes. I am really trying to come up with a new theme for our wheel site which is a simple blog theme.
