UPDATE: I’ve changed the design a little bit.

I’ve got 2 mails from two readers asking me to develop a wordpress theme that they can use on their company websites, a corporate theme.

Corporate theme? A compay blog, usually (it depends on company niche) is visited only by bussines people, people that are not impressed by glossy-glamour stuff. On a corporate blog the information is king, so it must be readable, easy to navigate.

This theme it will be released tomorrow, it will come with more color pallets and of course, it will be free.

“Porftolio Wordpress Theme” is a wordpress theme designed for web portfolios and (for now) just for web portfolios. It is coming with an Administrative Panel from where you can edit the head quote text, you can edit all theme colors, font families, font sizes and you can fill a curriculum vitae and display it into a special page. Hello There! Brightness is a success until now. With almost 1000 downloads it had been promoted on huge blogs like wordpresstoolscollection, I’ve been contacted for small adjusments and work and because of that I’m releasing today Brightness 1.2.

Bug Fixed:

1. News Sections First Post Excerpt
   News Sections are items displayed on homepage after latest 10 posts. The excerpt from the first post from the first news section was also been displayed at rest of the news sections. Now this bug is fixed.

Here is another free wordpress theme I want to release those days. It’s a wordpress theme dedicated to movies database websites (see: movies.com / movies.yahoo.com / movies.ign.com etc.). I’m not 100% pleased by how it looks now, I want something simple and easy to edit (it will come with more color pallets you can choose from).

If you have any ideas, suggestions just comment here, I will count them into our contest. The main idea is a movie database, with trailers, synopsis, actors and basic movie info, not a news theme.

Hello! There is a week since I’ve presented “Brightness Worpdress Theme“, a free magazine-style wordpress theme coming with a settings page just perfect for nobs and non-tehnical users. But it was not perfect, it had some bugs and some requirments and that’s why I release the first update: Brightness 1.1

Bugs Fixed

1. Featured Post “Read The Rest” Image Link. (get_permalink replaced with the_permalink);
2. News Sections First Post Permalink. ($posttitle replaced with $postlink);
3. Single Post “Homepage” Link. (# replaced with bloginfo(’url’));
4. Head Title missing Space (BrightnessNews is now Brightness News);
5. Validation! Brightness is now a XHTML and CSS Valid Theme.

New Features:

1. Defalut Thumbnail Image. If you don’t put any thumbnail to a post it will display a default thumbnail.
2. Blog Title Configuration. You can display/hide the red “News” text or you can insert your own text.
